Christina Matthews joined Mainwood Legal Services as an Associate after completing her articles with The City of Calgary. Originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Christina earned her law degree from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, and completed her undergraduate degree in Criminology with a Policing Studies Certificate from Simon Fraser University.
Prior to law school, Christina Matthews worked in community corrections as a House Supervisor, as an Outreach Worker for a non-profit organization, and as a kickboxing instructor upon receiving her black belt. Outside of professional life, Christina enjoys being active by snowboarding, attending spin classes, jogging, and playing on a local dodgeball team.
Christina’s primary practice areas include civil litigation, administrative law, family law, criminal law, and wills and estates.
