Family lawyer Chantal Borja obtained her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines in 2010 and became a member of the Philippine Bar in 2011. Prior to coming to Calgary, she gained a wide range of experience working for four years in numerous practice areas, such as but not limited to, litigation and corporate law in the Philippines. She also worked as in-house counsel for an energy company in the Philippines for three years.
After moving to Calgary in 2015, Chantal immediately began pursuing her career as a lawyer in Calgary and successfully completed her National Committee on Accreditation examinations in 2016. Chantal then articled at a law firm, which specializes in family law and criminal defence. Chantal’s articling experience gave her vast exposure not only in appearing before the Provincial courts and the Courts of Queen’s Bench but also in preparing court applications and affidavits.
After getting called to the Law Society of Alberta Bar in 2018, Chantal decided to focus on family law. Chantal understands the emotional stress brought about by broken marriages. She is prepared to listen and understand her clients and advocate for them.
Aside from family law, Chantal also assists clients in their residential real estate transactions, be it a purchase, sale or refinance. She also assists clients who intend to prepare their Wills, Powers of Attorney or Personal Directives.

When not in court, Chantal loves to hike to the nearby Rockies and lakes, sing karaoke with her friends and travel.
