Michael joined Mainwood Legal Services as an Associate in 2020. He provides excellent legal advice regardless of his client’s needs or circumstance. Michael believes in a client-centered approach to practising law. He will work closely with you to determine your specific needs and develop strategies to help achieve your goals.
During his time in law school, Michael developed a passion for assisting refugee claimants. Michael co-founded a law school volunteer program allowing law students to assist refugee claimants. His efforts and enthusiasm were instrumental in furthering awareness of the legal struggles faced by refugees in Canada. Michael has taken this experience and passion to effectively represent his clients with their Canadian immigration needs.
Michael also practises family law; he understands the high emotional tole on families during legal proceedings. His practice also focuses on advocating for families in child-protection related matters. Michael has travelled to First Nations and remote areas of Manitoba to appear before judges in Child Protection proceedings.
